Hello, my name is St. James the Greater.  Not much about my early life is known. It is known that I am the son of Zebedee and the brother of St. John. Christ came to me while I was fishing with my father. I was one of the hand picked apostles by Jesus to witness the transfiguration. I travelled to Samaria, Judea, and Spain at a young age to spread the word of God, but when I returned to Jerusalem I was killed by King Herod. I was the first apostle to be martyred. I am the patron saint of Spaniards. My last words were,  “I forgive you.”I died in 44 Ad. I became a saint in the first century. My Feast day is July 25.
