Why Video Games are Good

Have you ever thought video games can actually be good for you? Video games can help people with dyslexia. Gaming can improve memory recall. Also, Video games can improve your decision making skills. I believe video games are good because they help with Dyslexia and can pull back fun or exciting trips

First, dyslexia can be helped from video games. Those who suffer from Dyslexia are helped from all the words that pop up on the screen, and then the words being read from a character.  Video games are full of instructions that you need to follow. But that is hard if you are dyslexic. So that is where your training from other games comes into play.

Second, video games can pull back memories. The part of your brain that holds your memories is called your hippocampus. If you see a mountain in a game you could remember a hike or where you used to live.  Remembering things can be good because you might have a family trip that you forgot and you try to remember.

Third, video games can improve your decision making skills. For example, if you have to shoot a small target in a small amount of time, but the time resets after you hit that target. You have to hit it large amount of times; that makes it a harder challenge. How does this help with decision making skills?

In conclusion, video games are good because they can help with dyslexia, they can pull back memories, and can improve your decision making skills. If you don't play video games you’ll miss out on a very fun experience. Just don’t play video games all day, so you can still stay in shape and get fresh air. Make sure to play video games and be awesome!!
